Project W.A.I.T.T

  • Project WAITT provides the following services:
  • Food Pantry (Home Deliver Meals)
  • Rental Assistance
  • Mortgage Assistance
  • Utilities Assistance (electric, gas, telephone, and water)
  • 18 bed Transitional Housing (on-site living facility)
  • Nutrition Counseling
  • Health Education/Wellness Counseling
  • Volunteerism
  • Permanent Housing Placement

The services target clients living in Fort Bend, Liberty, Montgomery, Chambers, Waller and Harris counties.

Clients are referred to the program by an HIV service provider, a Case Manager or by individual contacts.

Supportive Services

Brentwood Cottages
A transitional housing facility for persons living with HIV.  The housing facility consists of three residential units offering home-style living accommodations.

This program responds to the needs of those facing homelessness that have exhausted all other financial avenues.

Health Education / Wellness Counseling
Assist groups and individuals with basic health education related to HIV disease.

Nutrition Counseling
A licensed dietitian provides services that include weight change assessments, and meal preparation and selection suggestions. Education is provided on diet history, planning and ways to calculate nutritional requirements, related to specific medication regimens.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers provide support to clients related to emotional and spiritual health including a Buddy Program. 

Permanent Housing Placement
Facilitates permanent housing placement for those currently in transitional housing.  Assistance in accessing apartment locators, Realtors and other service agencies is provided.
