2012 College Scholarships & Grants

Dear Students:

The Brentwood Community Foundation scholarship and grant application package is now available. Eligible applicants include 2012 high school graduates, undergraduate students, and graduate students who live in the greater Houston area. The application package is available on the Brentwood Community Foundation website--www.brentwoodfoundation.org. Students may apply for one scholarship or grant. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The deadline to submit completed applications, with required documents, is Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1:00p.m. Applications can be submitted to the Foundation office or to the Brentwood Baptist Church office. Mailed applications must be postmarked by August 24, 2012, and mailed to the address below.

The Internet: Many websites have large scholarship databases that will do the grunt work for you. Enter your criteria and they return a list of scholarships that match. Most sites are free and only require you to register to use their services. There are also many organizations that provide scholarships and/or links to scholarship resources.
